Farm Girl Vintage Continued

It’s been a busy summer, and I’m looking forward to getting back into a regular routine. We took the camper, loaded it up with three kids, and everything we’d need for a month, and headed for the Maritimes to see family and friends.

This threw a bit of a wrench into my quilt along, but I’m back home and back at it.

My favorite local quilt shop, (Out of Hand, located in Calgary) set this challenge up. Each of the 12 weeks came with a kit for 4 blocks and instructions. $12.50 per week plus the Lori Holt book Farmgirl Vintage.

The book is beautiful, and the instructions are fantastic. I’m a very visual learner, and have found it very well written, illustrated, and user friendly. Even for a beginner like myself.
